Francesca Müller
Assistant Portfolio Manager1

Francesca Müller is a German fintech consultant with experience
in mathematical modeling and cross-border practical
applications. She currently works as an Executive Assistant at
Polen Capital Asset Management in the European region,
coordinating AI trading strategies. Her focus is on bringing
local understanding and practical application of intelligent
trading systems to German-speaking investors.
She earned her bachelor's degree in economics from the
University of Münster with a minor in mathematical modeling and
later obtained a master's degree in financial engineering from
the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Previously, she
worked at a technology startup, focusing on market structure
analysis and machine learning strategies. During her analysis of
Polen Capital's SmartGrid™ strategy paper, she proposed an
improvement to the "delay effect of behavioral disruption" and
wrote a report, which she presented to the PCAM team. This
report caught the attention of Professor Blake, leading to an
in-depth discussion. She was subsequently invited to participate
in the testing and optimization of the systems at headquarters.
After joining PCAM, Francesca focused on adapting the SmartGrid™
strategy to the German-speaking markets and user feedback. She
coordinated the strategy's rollout, designed local course
content, and built a real-time feedback system so that
behavioral data from the markets could be incorporated into the
system's optimization process, improving the strategy's
transparency and adaptability.
As a coordinator between research and the market, she helps more
German-speaking investors engage with AI trading in a structured
way and promotes practicality and confidence in the practical
use of intelligent tools.
